Who thought of this idea?

When Covid hit, did you find yourself going stir crazy, needing to get out? But heading outside held mixed feelings complicated with the new need of wearing a face mask. Then maybe you’re plagued with the problem of finding a mask (it’s hard enough to find car keys). Did you ever need to return home for a forgotten mask? Maybe you still do sometimes. 

Our Plats Hoodie™ idea sparked on a morning run with my kids, who did not want to leave the safety of our messy house: they were terrified of catching covid from strangers, or even from friends, and mostly from each other. (It is just them? Or were your siblings “gross” to the point you’d run into traffic to avoid being touched?) 

My daughter simplified life for all of us when we turned a corner and out of nowhere a guy innocently came too close. You know that feeling even now when shopping or just trying to enjoy yourself and BAM! Someone comes annoyingly near.  

That instant the spark that ignited her idea happened fast with a simple reach back, twist and cover; a creative utilization of her hoodie as a face mask. It’s right there all the time with you. You’re so covered in a pinch; no rummaging “which pocket? Or “ugh, it’s at home.” Or even worse … you drop it! (you’ll never drop, lose or misplace this - problem solved!)
